Marchigiani Abroad
For the course of a century from the 1870's onwards, hundreds of thousands of marchigiani left the region out of economic necessity to start a new life in other corners of the world. This section of the site is dedicated to them and their many descendants. In the page of associations abroad you'll find a list of contacts for organisations of marchigiani across the globe. Under tracing your roots we've put together a simple guide to get you started in researching your family genealogy in the Marche. An historic archive tracing the history of emigration from the region as recently been founded by the Regional Authority.
